Does Sonic Rumble have Controller Support?
The answer is yes. Sonic Rumble does have controller support, including Xbox, PS4, PS5, Gamesir, and Backbone controllers.
You can play Sonic Rumble using any external controllers, and it will work perfectly fine.
I tested the game with these controllers, and they worked very well without any issues, though I noticed that the game lagged a little bit on my Android tablet compared to my iPad Pro.
For the external controller, it worked perfectly, with no issues at all.

Sonic Rumble is a free-to-play party/“battle-royale” style game developed by SEGA Corporation in collaboration with Rovio Entertainment (of Angry Birds fame).
The game was launched globally on November 5, 2025 abd available on these platforms; iOS, Android and Windows/PC.
The game places players in a whimsical “toy world” created by the villain Dr. Eggman, where miniature versions of familiar characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe compete.
