So finally, one of the popular and hyped mobile games for October has been released today and I’m talking about Duet Night Abyss, though the servers will be made available on the 28th of October.
I couldn’t wait to test the game because it was really hyped before the release date.
Well, I have already downloaded and installed the game on my iPad, which is almost 10GB in size. As this website is all about games with controller support, here’s what I found out about the game.
Does Duet Night Abyss have controller support?
The answer is yes. Duet Night Abyss has full controller support, which means you can play and enjoy the game using any external controllers like the Xbox controller, PS5 controller, PS4 controller, Backbone controller, GameSir, etc.
Now listen, the game servers are not yet available globally until October 28th, and this simply means you can’t play the game until then.
However, I found out that one can use an external controller to navigate through the menus, and this made me conclude that the game is definitely controller-supported.
If the game is not controller-supported, there’s no way one can navigate through the menus using an external controller rather than the on-screen touch controls.
But all the same, let’s wait until October 28th to fully confirm if it’s controller supported or not. But from what i have seen, I believe the Duet Night Abyss is controller supported.

Duet Night Abyss is an action role-playing game (ARPG) developed by Pan Studio and published by Hero Games, set to launch on October 28, 2025 on iOS, Android, Windows and macOS.
The game presents a hybrid combat style combining melee and ranged play, merged into a fluid, fast-paced system.
The narrative is told through two protagonists (a “dual narrative”) whose paths and decisions interweave, shaping branching storylines and multiple endings.
The world of Atlasia is a setting where magic and machinery co-exist, featuring mystical “Heaventrees” and a mysterious race known as the Luno.
One of its bold choices is its monetization model: the game has removed traditional gacha-style banners and character/weapon RNG mechanics, making all characters and weapons earnable through gameplay or purchase (no forced RNG or star systems).
The developers aim for Duet Night Abyss to be more than “just another gacha game” by focusing on player choice, flexible loadouts, and reduced grind, they hope to deliver deeper gameplay and long-term engagement.
Does Duet Night Abyss have multiplayer?
Yes, Duet Night Abyss do have a support for multiplayer / online co-op / cross-platform play.
Thr features states Single-player / Online Co-op / Cross-Platform Multiplayer” among the game’s features, indicating that multiplayer components are part of the design.
Right now, I’m waiting for the actual release date to be able to play the game, see its features and mechanics, and will definitely come back here to give an update about it.
