We have a couple of games released this November, and *Sword of Justice* is among them. So far, I’ve been playing the game even though I’m not into MMORPGs.
The mobile game developer promised us controller support, but the question is whether the game is controller-supported on mobile platforms.
Here’s my result.
Does Sword of Justice have controller support?
Sword of Justice is not fully controller-supported, as some buttons or actions cannot be operated using an external controller, except for touch controls.
Here’s the truth: the developer promised the game would be controller compatible even on mobile platforms, but upon releasing the game, I noticed that it was not entirely controller supported.
This means you can’t play Sword of justice using a controller simply because not all buttons works with a controller or gamepad.
I tried all the game controllers I have, ranging from Xbox to PS5 and down to GameSir controllers, and they’re not fully compatible with the game.
So far, this is how Sword of Justice plays using an external game controller.
However, I do believe the game developer will make the game fully controller-supported in the next update because they promised it would be, which isn’t entirely true yet.
So, I’m waiting for the next update for the game and to see if it’s fully controller supported.
Now listen, as Sword of Justice isn’t fully controller-supported on mobile, the game is fully controller-supported on PC, and you can play it using any Xbox, PS4, or PS5 controller, Gamesir, etc.
Don’t Miss:
Game Overview
Sword of Justice is a free-to-play open-world MMORPG developed by ZhuRong Studio and published by NetEase Games. It launches globally on mobile (Android & iOS) and PC on November 7, 2025.
The game is set in a richly detailed fantasy world inspired by the later 12th-century Northern Song Dynasty of China.
You’ll explore vast landscapes—mountains, rivers, caves—and uncover martial-arts legends, lost weapons, and ancient techniques.
Gameplay & Features
Freedom of play: There are no rigid class roles; you can combine hundreds of skills and mix weapon types to create your own style (“tanks can heal, healers can deal damage”).
NPC system & world-reactivity: The game boasts AI-powered NPCs that remember your actions and respond accordingly, aiming to make the world feel alive.
Fair progression / No pay-to-win: All core resources are earned via gameplay, not purchased. Stat caps and seasonal resets aim to keep competition balanced.
High-end visuals: Features such as ray-tracing, dynamic weather, and HDR-style lighting are promoted, bringing console/PC-level visuals to mobile.
Social & solo friendly: Whether you want to team up for raids or play solo with AI companions, the game accommodates both.
What makes it appealing
-
For fans of Wuxia or Eastern-fantasy MMOs, the setting is deeply immersive and culturally textured.
-
If you dislike grindy or overtly pay-to-win mobile games, the promise of skill-based progression is a plus.
-
The visual fidelity is unusually high for a mobile game, and many players noted it runs surprisingly smoothly.
Things to be aware of
-
Some players report the UI still feels very mobile-centric (even on PC) and can be cluttered.
-
Good visuals often mean higher resource usage—battery drain and performance may vary depending on your device.
-
Although the game promises “no pay-to-win”, free-to-play models still may include other monetisation (skins, cosmetics) so check how it works in your region.
If you’re looking for a mobile MMORPG that aims high in visuals, world-building and player freedom—Sword of Justice certainly ticks many boxes. While it may have mobile-origin UI quirks and will demand a capable device for the best experience, it stands out for doing many things differently in the crowded MMO mobile space.”
